Spotlight on Digital Power
Wall Industries recently announced the new LANEW Series of dc-dc converters. The LANEW Series was developed for use in industrial, mobile and test equipment applications. These converters provide 2-to-1 input ranges of 4.5 V to 9 V, 9 V to 18 V, 18 V to 36 V, or 36 V to 75 V. They also provide single or dual outputs of 3.3 V, 5 V, 9 V, 12 V or 15 V. The LANEW series delivers up to 2 W of power with no derating across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
This versatile family of converters is housed in an industry-standard SIP package, measuring 0.86 in. × 0.36 in. × .044 in., and is characterized by a standard footprint. Other features include remote on/off; ±1% voltage accuracy; tight line and load regulation; low ripple and noise of 50mVpk-pk; continuous short-circuit protection with auto recovery; 1-kVdc input/output isolation; and mean time between failures (MTBF) of 5.107 x 10
