Spotlight on Digital Power
Linear Technology has introduced the "H-Grade" version of the LT1976. The LT1976 is a 60-V max, burst mode, step-down switching regulator that maintains quiescent current under 100 µA. The "H" Grade version operates up to a junction temperature of 140°C, compared to the "E" and "I" Grade versions' 125°C maximum junction temperature (T
The LT1976 operates within a V
Other features include a shutdown current of <1 µA, a power good flag with programmable threshold, a 200-kHz switching frequency, 0.2-Ω on-resistance, peak switch current maintained over full duty cycle range, a 1.25-V feedback reference voltage, the ability to be synchronized, and soft-start capability. Available in a TSSOP-16E package, the LT1976HFE is priced starts at $4.85 each for 1000-piece quantities.
