OPTEK Technology Names New Sales Representative

TT electronics OPTEK Technology has added R.O. Whitesell & Associates to its list of authorized sales representatives to sell its complete line of custom sensing components and assemblies. The appointment of the Whitesell rep firm will help the company continue its recent sales growth, particularly to North American automakers.

“R.O. Whitesell is a welcome addition to our sales team,” said Alan Bennett, vice president of worldwide sales for OPTEK. “Having Whitesell as part of our sales team gives us a more active presence with automakers and other OEMs,” he explained, “and their experience in selling for other TT electronics companies is a big plus for us.”

In addition to OPTEK Technology, R.O. Whitesell & Associates also represents other TT electronics companies, including BI Technologies, Welwyn Components, AB Automotive Inc., AB Automotive Electronics Ltd., MMG North America Corp. and resistor manufacturer IRC since 1968.

With sales offices across the United States and Mexico, R.O. Whitesell will represent OPTEK’s comprehensive line of optoelectronic assemblies and components, as well as fiber-optic products and magnetic sensors.
