Spotlight on Digital Power
From Cal Test Electronics, the CT3197 impedance converter kit adapts the company’s high-voltage oscilloscope probe (model CT2982) for use with a standard digital multimeter (DMM). The impedance converter kit eliminates the need to purchase a costly high-voltage probe for DMM use. The CT3197 consists of a BNC feedthrough terminator and a BNC-to-4-mm banana plug adapter.
Specifications for the kit include a dc to 50 MHz bandwidth, a working power of 1 W max, a maximum input voltage of 250 Vdc or 200 Vac rms. In addition, accuracy is ±0.25%. The impedance converter kit is priced at $52.
