Endicott Research Group’s new DMAD Series dc-ac inverter is designed to power LCDs backlit by two CCFLs (cold cathode fluorescent lamps, or tubes) that are used where high brightness and wide dimming flexibility are required, such as POS terminals, ATM machines, industrial and medical displays, and stand-alone kiosks. The DMAD is suitable for LCDs that are designed to produce high contrast and superior daylight readability. The on-board dimming signal mates to most controllers on the market making integration very easy.

Measuring only 4.76 in. × .86 in. × .50 in., the high-efficiency DMAD Series inverter features up to 12 W of output power and integrated input/output connectors. The DMAD inverter also features external control and onboard PWM (pulse width modulation) dimming with a high dimming ratio that easily approaches 500-to-1, depending on configuration. Pricing for DMAD Series inverters is $14.30 each in production quantities.
