Agile Systems has been granted the first in a series of five patent-pending applications for control of electric motor products by the U.S. Patent & Trade Office. This initial patent covers the removal of noise induced by the motor allowing a clean back EMF signal, which then is used to obtain optimal commutation. The clean back EMF signal in combination with Agile's sensorless algorithm results in 100% startup reliability and improved low-speed control.
