Spotlight on Digital Power
Linnea Brush, Senior Analyst with Darnell Group, revealed the leaders in digital power for 2007 (determined at Digital Power Forum 2007) in the report “Digital Power Electronics: IC and Power Converter Benchmarking Survey”. Beginning with the first leader, the top-five members of this group are Texas Instruments, Emerson Network Power, Primarion, Ericsson Power Modules, and ROAL Electronics.
At the previous year’s conference, Texas Instruments was also the leading member, followed by Astec Power, Power-One, Primarion and Artesyn. Emerson and Primarion also remained on the list for the second year. However, while Astec Power and Artesyn represented Emerson as two separate divisions last year, this year they have formally merged into a single entity: Emerson Network Power.
