Software developer Wind River Systems has joined a couple of dozen other companies supporting Renesas Technology’s COMET Program (Community Enabling Telematics Objectives) expansion in Europe. COMET’s goal is to drive infotainment and telematics standards through middleware from third-parties such as Wind River, which offers device software for secure, reliable connectivity in infotainment and telematics applications.
