Retail automotive logistics services provider Unipart Logistics has joined STAR (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail), the IT standards organization for the North American retail automotive industry, bringing total membership in STAR to nearly 50 organizations.
STAR is leading an industry-wide initiative to implement voluntary IT standards related to business information needs and Internet links for dealers, manufacturers and retail system providers.
Unipart offers demand forecasting, inventory management, order processing, warehousing, distribution and financial services.
