Lowrance Electronics’ iWay 500C automotive GPS won the Best New Mobile Electronics Entertainment Product for 2005 at SEMA 2004 (Specialty Equipment Market Association).
CEO Darrell Lowrance says the sub $1k 500C, an on-dash, turn-by-turn device with a 20 Gbyte hard drive, 5-inch diagonal color touch-screen display, and integrated MP3 player, began shipping on schedule last month.
