ASIC developer Faraday Technology Corporation has signed a multiyear strategic partnership agreement with Innovasic Semiconductor, which designs and builds embedded microcontroller solutions and peripheral ICs for automotive and other applications. Innovasic gains preferential supply for the next decade and beyond.
The agreement assures continued supply of replacement ICs for Innovasic, through Faraday’s foundry relationship with UMC. Faraday gains access to expertise in development of mission-critical applications that can endure harsh environmental conditions.
