Meggitt PLC’s Endevco subsidiary has opened Meggitt Sensors and Controls Xiamen Ltd., its first manufacturing facility in Asia. Endevco develops sensors for measuring acceleration, vibration and pressure in extreme environments. Meggitt Xiamen will also provide local manufacturing support to other Meggitt divisions.
"Xiamen has a well-developed infrastructure, strong investment climate, skilled workforce,” says Endevco President Rob Meyer. “With the support of the Xiamen government, Foreign Investment Bureau and our local business partners, we were able to deliver the first phase of our investment on time and on budget."
