Centrality Communications Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.), which provides semiconductor platforms for automotive navigation systems, has named Rob Baxter as its president and chief executive officer. He takes over from Dr. Chi-Shin Wang, who will continue at Centrality in the role of chief technology officer. Baxter moves to Centrality from Xan3D Technologies (formerly Xanoptix) where he was chief executive.
